I’ve had a really fun few weeks celebrating the release of my new domestic suspense story, The Last Book Club. I had a fun visit with fellow author Linda Hurtado Bond, who is also a talented local news anchor who hosts a the Tampa Fox affiliate’s Local Book Club segment. She’s had some literary luminaries on there including the amazing Patti Callahan Henry, Tiffany Jackson, Lee Child, Kendra Elliot and many more, so I was thrilled for the chance to chat about my story.
After my moment in the spotlight, I had the pleasure of joining some friends and readers at The Book Lounge in St. Petersburg, FL for my launch party. I read an excerpt from the book, spoke with my talented Q & A partner, author and writing coach Shirley Jump, then signed copies of The Last Book Club. See the cute space I got to sign in?
I’ll confess, I did try to match my dress to the book cover. But I didn’t realize how well I’d match the floral wallpaper too ;-).
